Glengarry Messenger Bag

After a years long search for the perfectly designed bag, I found it in the Glengarry! It had to be so well made that it would last a lifetime and, of course, it had to be beautiful! This bag is all of those things. Only five stars? I’d give it ten!

Everything everyone else here has said is true: the bag is gorgeous, very well made and designed, with delightful details, and substantial without being precious or stuffy or tank-like. And Robyn and Phee made a couple of modifications at my request that made it perfect for me to use anywhere.

The thing I'd add is: The bag has soul. The animal, the vision and craft all come together into a presence. My eye goes right to it when I come into my study. I'm looking forward to doing that for a long time.

The bag has been perfect for my day-to-day needs. I'm glad I got the larger size even though I only carry a 13" laptop, the extra space has already come in handy. I love the brass buckles for easy opening and the detachable shoulder strap, and the build quality on the rest of the bag is magnificent.

I have a custom wallet from Phee's and I knew they did some solid work with great leather. I have been looking for a new satchel style bag for professional purposes for quite some time. I wanted it to last the remainder of my career so I preferred that it be handmade and full leather. The new Crazy Horse Brown Glengarry Messenger Bag in water buffalo leather is amazing! The leather looks great and has a thick and robust feel to it. I have no doubt that it will last decades with proper care. The brass hardware is solid too and sets off the finish of the bag so well. I am almost sad at the end of my work day as I have to put the bag down lol. The fact that it is Canadian made is a huge selling point to me too. I purchased the large size version and it fits pertinent paperwork and files, my laptop, my tablet, books, my wallet, glasses, assorted pens and office supplies, and my lunch without issue. Both purchases I got from this couple came with handwritten notes and that is a nice touch. It is clear, both in their care and craftsmanship that they value their work and the products they make for their customers. I honestly have never been this excited about a bag lol. I was firt introduced to Phee's Original Goods and their Messenger bags on a TV program on Eastlink "How it's Made". That the crafters were in Nova Scotia was significant. I decided to purchase a beautiful messenger bag for someone going into a new job position. The entire purchasing process was personalized and attentive in a really friendly and helpful manner. The customer service was exemplary, in a world with disappointing services from so many places. The bag was delivered exactly when it was supposed to and when I opened the box!! Just gorgeous!
